FAQs on Wedding Photography

Do you have an online portfolio?
Yes, I do. But as I’ve just recently moved to this new blogsite, most of my shots from previous weddings can be seen on my old blog here, my old website here or my flickr site here.

What inspires your photography?
Life in general – friends, family, love. I could be watching a beautiful sunset or sharing a joke with my girlfriends and be inspired. I believe that life’s too short for us not to be inspired by all these simple things. Inspiration comes easier to me especially when I’m shooting newlyweds. What could be more inspiring than witnessing the love and commitment of 2 individuals starting a new journey together?

What’s your style of photography?
It varies as I constantly evolve and learn new things as a photographer. If I really need to define it, I would say that my style is a mixture of photojournalism and fun, posed shots. As cliché as it may sound, my main objective is to record the moment for you and also to capture you at your best so that you can look back on some of the most important and special days of your life and relive your sweet memories through the pictures.

What gear do you use?
Canon digital bodies and high-quality Canon lenses. For weddings, I use 2 camera bodies with a variety of lenses to capture different perspective throughout your special day.

Do you edit your pictures?
Yes, all pictures will go through subtle editing such as saturation, conversion to B&W, fill light. This will be done tastefully according to the picture style. FYI, post-processing is what makes the colours in my pictures look so yummy.

How long do I have to wait before I receive my pictures?
The turn-around time for the DVD copy of your pictures would be 4 – 5 weeks from event / photography day. Delivery of photobooks would depend on how fast you confirm which pictures you would like to feature in it.

Why should I choose you as my wedding photographer?
This is a rather subjective question. Like relationships, choosing a wedding photographer to document your wedding day is very much a personal choice. Hence I would say, follow your heart. If you can envision yourself in the pictures that you see on this website, then I’m the photographer for you. At the same time, it is important to hire someone whom you’re absolutely comfortable with to record down one of the most special day of your life. So let’s meet up over a cuppa!

How do I book you for my wedding?
It is advisable that booking for weddings be made at least 3 months prior to your big day. Besides signing a basic contract, 1/3 of the package investment would also be required as a retainer fee to lock down my dates. Kindly note that bookings are on first come, first serve basis.

Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes, I do. Be it at your hometown or an exotic locale, I’m able to travel depending on my availability dates.

What’s the rates for your wedding photography?
