Megat & Sarah ~ Married :)

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you might recognise this couple. I shot their casual portrait session when I first started off as a full-time photographer and last year I shot their pre-wedding session before shooting their wedding in December 2010.

I’ll be posting up a lot more images from their wedding celebration up on my Facebook page in the next couple of days. In the meantime, here’s a lil’ teaser from the wedding festivities :)

Just updated my Facebook page with A LOT MORE of their wedding photos. Check it *click*click* ;)

Megat and Sarah, as you know by now, it is an absolute pleasure to be part of your milestones. And it is SUCH a breeze to shoot you two, it seems like all I have to do is click the camera and there you two go, making a pretty picture ;) I know the wedding was nearly six months ago (terrible of me for waiting so long to post these up!) but it’s never too late to wish you two many happiness for the years to come. Oh and not forgetting many-many camwhoring sessions too ;) Speak soon! x

Yadesh & Anjena

When Kubhaer contacted me to shoot his cousin’s wedding, I nearly didn’t take the gig cos the wedding celebrations were held throughout Christmas period. After a bout of discussions (and some major rescheduling ;p), I was on board and the shoot was on like donkey kong!

Kubhaer had told me that Yadesh and Anjena’s wedding festivities was gonna be a combination of My Big Fat Greek Wedding + 300 + some Hindi movie which I can’t recall what the title was :p But it was beyond that. It really exceeded all my expectations. Throughout the three days, I went through a roller coaster of emotions – bewilderment as to what was going on, frustrations at times as to what a large crowd there was to control for the group shots, happiness that I was invited to witness such an epic celebration, envy that I didn’t have as tight knit and big a family as the Jethwani’s and Nanwani’s had ;p and gratitude that they had me shoot the ceremony even though this was my first Sindhi wedding ceremony EVER!

Though I didn’t get a chance to meet Yadesh and Anjena before the wedding, getting a chance to spend three days with them was enough for me to see that they were really cool :) And I found it kinda cute that they actually met at a Sindhi convention in Jakarta. But that’s a story for another day ;p

I could rave on and on about how much I enjoyed Yadesh and Anjena’s wedding, but that would take up too much of our time. So here’s an inkling of what I got to experience throughout their EPIC celebrations :) More of Yadesh and Anjena’s wedding pictures can be seen on my Facebook page here *click*click*

Yadesh and Anjena, your wedding was seriously an awesome experience :) Thank you for entrusting me with taking shots of the festivities, it really was an honour and a pleasure to hang out with you two and your great family. Here’s to many years of epic celebrations, happiness, close knit family and friends! And dude, don’t wait til this Christmas to select photos for your album ;p Hehe…all the best!

Kent & Baushya

Had heaps of fun shooting Kent & Baushya’s wedding celebrations back in January :D Even though I’ve seen (what seems like) gazillion bridal games, I couldn’t help but to burst out laughing during their bridal games. Their sporting friends definitely made the day special for Kent and Baushya and throughout the day, you could tell that this was really a memorable celebration not only for them, but for their friends and family members.

For (much!) more of their wedding day pictures, check out my Facebook page here *click*click* :)

Wedding days are made even more special when your best friend is your maid of honour….

…when you can give your brother-in-law a kiss even after he bribes you :p…..

…when your friends protect you from the “heng tai’s” who get their ball-busted (literally!)…

…when after months of planning, it really IS THE DAY…

…when you finally get to your bride and the REAL festivities begin ;)…

…when family members give you their blessings (and money as well. kwang kwang kwaaang :p)…

…when good friends spare the whole day just to celebrate your union with you :)

Congratulations again Kent and Baushya, here’s wishing you two many many awesome years ahead filled with many great diving trips (in the sea or otherwise :p), laughter, love and great friendship. Thanks again for having me be part of the celebrations :)
