My site was nominated for Best Photography Blog!

Welcome to Anna-Rina’s blogsite (yes, it’s a blog AND a website). I’m a wedding and lifestyle portrait photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I have had experience covering weddings & portrait sessions not only all over Malaysia but also at overseas locations such as London, Paris, Sydney, Perth, Singapore, Bali, Phuket and Krabi. As cliched as this may sound, I feel blessed to have a career that I love with absolute passion as it allows me to meet people from all sorts of background, capturing them at the happiest and most memorable moments of their lives.

Do scroll through the above navigation bar to get more details on the photography services that I provide and check out the below blog posts which showcases some of my favourite photos from recent wedding and lifestyle portrait sessions. Besides that, do check out my Facebook photography page for MORE images from recent shoots.

Feel free to leave a comment and share some love in this lil’ blogosphere of mine. At least I would know I’m not talking to myself ;) Then again, I do that quite often…..I kid, I kiiid. Have an awesome day ahead and thanks again for dropping by!

Cheng Leong & Angeline

Had the pleasure of shooting Cheng Leong and Angeline’s pre-wedding session back in Kota Kinabalu a couple of weeks ago. Whilst the trip was a bit rushed for them as they were only in KK for the weekend, we managed to squeeze in the session not only at Nexus’ beach but as also up in Kundasang.

Prior to the shoot, they had both ‘warned’ me that they would be absolutely ‘unnatural’ in front of the camera. I beg to differ cos they were a breeze to shoot. Ok so Cheng Leong took a while to warm up to my ‘bullying’ but I must say, once he did, they were both creating magic! Seriously ;)

Fishy kiss FTW

My first bride-to-be who is capable of carrying her other half *salute* ;)

He swept her off her feet. Literally o_0

The pose on the right was requested by Cheng Leong. They told me it was from a shot they saw of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, so out of curiosity, I googled it up after the session and found this ;)

Congratulations again to you both on your upcoming nuptials! Wish I was in town to celebrate the happy occasion but since I won’t be, I’m happy enough to have had the opportunity to ‘bully’ you two during the pre-wed session ;) And incase you’re wondering, I decided not to post any of the ‘proper’ pics so that you can share those during your wedding day. But some of these ‘silly’ shots are my utmost fave of you both! Here’s to an awesome new journey filled with many days of laughter, fun and yummy nomnoms ;) See you soon!

Soniya & Christian

On the day of their session, I waited at the underground station nearby their home in Shoreditch, London and thought to myself, “Fudge. How am I gonna know which is them?”. We had only liased via a couple of emails prior to their engagement portrait session and in my haste, I had forgotten to ask them for a photo. D-oh. So when I saw Soniya giving me a small wave and a big smile from afar, the sense of relief was enormous as it was evident then that this session was gonna be a breeze to shoot.

I must say, Soniya and Christian WERE a breeze to shoot BUT the weather conditions that we had that day was absolutely erratic with spring, summer and autumn all rolled into a day. Some may say that’s typical English weather but it was rather extreme as we had sun, wind and rain literally within a span of 5 minutes. Thank goodness Soniya and Christian were absolute troopers and put up with my requests throughout the session ;)

Soniya and Christian, it was a pleasure meeting you two! Your pictures should be currently on the way to your part of the world. In the meantime, here’s a lil preview of some of my favourite shots. Hope you two like it as much as I enjoyed shooting the session :) Have fun with the preparations for the wedding. That is, if you both have started on it ;p All the best xx

Gina

Sometimes, having a portrait session just because is as good a reason as any :D Had the pleasure of meeting Gina during my recent London trip where we had our session around South Bank. As you can see from the following pictures, it was like shooting a hair ad at times ;)
