KA + CE’s Family Portraits

Portraits

The morning was overcast and it looked like it was about to rain as I battled the morning traffic and headed to Chin Ee’s home. Luckily for me, the rain clouds shifted away when I arrived at her home. So yay for great weather!

That day was the first time I met Chin Ee and her husband Kuo Aun together with their daughter Rou Rou and 7-month old baby Hou Hou (whose outfit matched his Daddy’s! So cute :D). I had only corresponded with her via email prior to that and it was great to finally meet the family in person! We started off with some pictures at their home and then headed down to the playground area so that Rou Rou could run around and play on the swings as well. I think all the adults got quite a workout from chasing her around and coaxing her to stay still for a family portrait. It was all good fun and I’m happy to share some of my favourite shots from the session here.

Chin Ee, thanks again for the pleasure of capturing these pictures of you and your family. The only thing is, I still can’t decide which one to suggest for your canvas print 0_o Hehehe…see you soon!

OMG! This is a really good collection of shots. Doesn’t look like you guys had a hard time getting Rou Rou to stay still. Great captures of expressions..lovitt! And baby is soooo adorable!!

The Hutts – Portraits

Portraits

Natalie had contacted me a couple of months back saying that she wanted to arrange a family portrait session as it has been aaaaages since they last had one taken. So it was on a sunny Saturday morning that I met up with Natalie and the rest of her family members at Tmn Rimba Kiara, TTDI.

It was a pleasure to meet all of you then. Hope you’re having fun during your holidays back in Scotland! Here’s are some of my fave shots from the session. Enjoy :)

Faroq & Ninie: Portraits

Portraits

What can I say about this couple? TONS!

I’ve known Ninie ever since we met while participating in Malaysia’s first (and only :p) season of Fear Factor during end of 2005. Since then, she has gone from strength to strength in terms of her career of ‘pretzel-ing’ people. As for Faroq, I first met him when he and Ninie started dating about a year and a half ago. Faroq, whom Ninie refers to as ‘Supertall’, is absolutely laid back and chilled out, a perfect balance to Ninie’s go-getter attitude. Yes, ironic how its the accountant who reminds the yoga instructor she needs to chill out more ;)

It’s been 18 months since they started dating and to celebrate, we recently had a short and sweet portrait session around the Damansara area. I had fun shooting these two kiddos! Here’s wishing you two many more mini celebrations of anniversaries together. wOOt :D

Did I mention that Ninie’s a yoga instructor? ;p

  1. Peky says:

    awesome!!!!! Love the shots…very relaxing & carefree… :)
Ninie looks great too..and yes, superTall is SUPERtall…

  2. Anna-Rina says:

Thanks Peky! They were absolutely relaxed in front of the camera, making it very easy for me to shoot ;) Have a nice weekend!

  3. Asther says:

She’s gorgeous! And they’re really cute together. ;)

  4. Shemah says:

I love the place where this shoot was taken! Whereabouts in Damansara was this?

    Btw, love ur photos!! Amazing!
