Thanks for dropping by. I’m Anna-Rina, a full-time wedding and portrait photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

My specialty is shooting both candid and fun, posed shots with available light, capturing my clients at their best.

Here are some ‘interesting’ facts about me:
* Of Malay-Chinese parentage - besides being able to speak English, Mandarin and Malay, I also converse fluently in 3 Chinese dialects: Cantonese, Hakka and Hokkien.
* Originally from Kota Kinabalu, I’ve been living in the city of KL since 1999. I go back to Sabah to visit my parents whenever the opportunity arises. Ya, Sabah mari bah!
* I love hearing stories about how my clients first met, their funny incidents, their hopes, their dreams. Don’t be surprised if I end up asking you a lot of questions. Sometimes, I tend to suffer from verbal diarrhoea :p
* I’m a self-taught photographer. Learning through photography magazines, workshops, online forums and questioning experienced photographers, I believe in constantly improving my photographic skills to ensure that I am able to provide the freshest look and, what I hope to be, the best for my clients.
* In my ‘past life’, I worked as an Advertising & PR Senior Executive for a global sports brand. After many months of contemplation, I took the big leap and left my high flying job in September 2007 to pursue one of my greatest passions - photography.
* I truly, madly, deeply love what I’m doing now and I am absolutely honoured to have been part of my clients’ special days and to have made new friends in the process. I look forward to being part of your special day too.
* When not shooting, I enjoy fitness activities such as hiking, jogging, Crossfit training and when I can squeeze in the time, rock climbing.
* When I have time, I love to read. Novels, autobiographies, travelogues - love them all. Some of my favourite writers include Neil Gaiman, Tiziano Terzani, Bill Bryson and Clive Barker.
* I’m in a love triangle as I’ve got 2 men in my life - Paco and Onni. Honestly, I love them both equally. Oh, did I mention they’re both my cameras? Yes, they have names. But of course!
* I’m a closet romantic (shhh…it’s supposed to be a secret) - that’s why I love shooting weddings.
* I have a weird, funny laugh. Hur hur hur :p
