Divya & Gokulan

Weddings

Had the pleasure of covering Divya and Gokulan’s temple ceremony back in December together with Ndrew and I must say, having such an awesome couple to work with definitely made my day. Despite the rain prior to the event and the large number of guests that they had to attend to, Divya and Gokulan were absolute troopers and enjoyed the experience throughout the whole night.

Divya and Gokulan, thank you again for having me shoot the festivites and for confirming me without even having met me in the first place. I could’ve had bad breath for all you know. Not that I do of course ;) Hope you two are settling in well in Brisbane! Much love :)

A few of my photographer friends say that I get to work with some of the best looking couples in town. Can’t complain ;)

We are saving so much money by our DIY pjeorct 1st and foremost. I’ve bought all my milk glass pedestal style vases at Good Will St. Vincent D’Pauls etc I thinks we’ve spent under 30 for all the vases! Our wedding ceremony is on my in-laws to be property in Oregon facing a beautiful green valley so not much needed there. My fiance’s monther has a major green thumb too and is growing a lot of my flowers for me and has tons of foliage around her property so again less cost and more DIY. We’re using flowers that are in bloom for our June 12th wedding Hydrageas Bells of Ireland Goosegoes Walking Peonies and various foliage. The farmer was recommended to us and she is awsome! I’m all about supporting local farmers and the greener the better. We’re using smaller arrangements at our tables and using candles to fill the space along with our bamboo coaster favors in recycled paper box. I bought taller vases for my brides maids to put there bouques in on the head table so we have more than one use for the flowers. My guest will be welcomed to take the center piece as long as they have the secret number that matches the piece at the table too! Less clean up and work for all at the end of a long day.

Lez Ann & Christian

Portraits

I met Lez Ann and Christian during Su Ann and Jak Tim‘s wedding back in 2010 and I remember thinking to myself that, just like her sister, Lez Ann would make a gorgeous bride. And 2 years down the road, she proved me right. Well, to give Christian credit, he didn’t look too shabby himself ;)

These two newlyweds celebrated their nuptials just two days ago and I was lucky enough to shoot their pre-wedding session in Kota Kinabalu a couple of weeks prior to the day. Christian and Lez, thank you so much for flying to Sabah whilst I was there despite your super tight schedule. I had loadsa fun hanging out with you both and trust me when I say that working with you was an absolute pleasure :D Here’s to many happy years ahead filled with good times, mutual love and great travels!

Hi Anna! Lovely pictures i must tell ya! :) Stumbled upon your page on Google, and stuck browsing it for hours. Haha.

By the way, how did you take the pictures where the sun is in the background and the pictures seems like it being masked and blurred with lights. Did you simply overexpose the picture?

It would be very kind of you if you can share a bit on that. :)
