Ethan & Angela

Weddings

After a year of preparation came the day of Ethan and Angela’s wedding celebration in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This was the first celebration for them as they also had wedding receptions planned for Hong Kong and Canada where the rest of their family members and close friends were. With the tea ceremony in the morning and an intimate beach ceremony held at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort in the afternoon followed by their dinner reception, the day went smoothly with hardly a hiccup.

Just last week I shared some of their beach ceremony photos on my Facebook page and below are some of my favourite shots from their intimate tea ceremony which was held at the resort and also Ethan’s family home.

Oh. And no prizes for guessing which Hollywood actress Angela looks like ;)

  1. I love what you guys tend to be up too. Such clever work and exposure!
Keep up the excellent works guys I’ve incorporated you guys to my own blogroll.

Jess & Russ – Maternity Session in Hong Kong

Portraits

It was three years ago that I met Jess and Russ for their intimate wedding ceremony in Bali. Looking back at their wedding pictures reminded me just what wonderful people they are and how lucky I was to have met them thanks to the internet ;)

We kept in touch through the years via Facebook and early this year, when they contacted me again about their pregnancy, I was over the moon. It’s always nice to follow a couple’s progress, from their wedding to their pregnancy to the start of their little family. This was no exception as well.

And so it was, a month before Jess was due to give birth to their baby, that I flew to Hong Kong for their maternity session. Jess and Russ took the day off work and they actually drove me aaaaall around Hong Kong to check out the sights. Some of the places we stopped at for their portrait session included Disneyland Hong Kong Resort and The Peak, and we were super lucky with the weather as it was sunny and breezy at the same time.

Jess and Russ, thank you again for the lovely time in Hong Kong and thank you for opening the doors of your home for me (the home-cooked dinner was super yummy too!). Am happy to hear that lil Ayana has arrived, hope you two are coping well with your new status of parenthood and little Sai Lo is treating his sis well ;D Looking forward to see you in Malaysia soon! Much love, A.

Eleanor & Prashant

Weddings

Because love begets love.
Because life’s too short for one to hesitate.
Because one does fall in love when you least expect it.

Here are some of my favourite images from Eleanor and Prashant’s intimate wedding celebration at Ciao Ristorante, Kuala Lumpur :)

E&P, thank you again for having me shoot the festivities. It really was a celebration of sorts and I wish you two many great moments in your new ‘adventure’ together :)
