My site was nominated for Best Photography Blog!

Welcome to Anna-Rina’s blogsite (yes, it’s a blog AND a website). I’m a wedding and lifestyle portrait photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I have had experience covering weddings & portrait sessions not only all over Malaysia but also at overseas locations such as London, Paris, Sydney, Perth, Singapore, Bali, Phuket and Krabi. As cliched as this may sound, I feel blessed to have a career that I love with absolute passion as it allows me to meet people from all sorts of background, capturing them at the happiest and most memorable moments of their lives.

Do scroll through the above navigation bar to get more details on the photography services that I provide and check out the below blog posts which showcases some of my favourite photos from recent wedding and lifestyle portrait sessions. Besides that, do check out my Facebook photography page for MORE images from recent shoots.

Feel free to leave a comment and share some love in this lil’ blogosphere of mine. At least I would know I’m not talking to myself ;) Then again, I do that quite often…..I kid, I kiiid. Have an awesome day ahead and thanks again for dropping by!

Edmund T – Portraits

I first noticed Edmund when he started hanging out with my climber friends. Apparently he was already climbing waaaay before that but since I was always mucking around at the climbing gym, I never really noticed him :p Since then, we’ve become good friends as he’s also a regular face at Pushmore.

Edmund recently turned 23 and to celebrate this as well as his accomplishments as a Crossfitter, we had a portrait sesssion around the Damansara area. Part of the session was outside of Ikea and it being a Sunday, quite a lot of cars passed by where we were shooting and I think many of them must’ve been thinking “Model shoot arrr?”.

I don’t shoot guys that often but Edmund was an absolute natural in front of the camera. He’s usually a happy-go-lucky character, full of smiles and laughter but funnily enough, my favourite shots from the session are of him looking all suave and somber ;) Hah! Without further ado, presenting Edmund’s “other side”.

What’s a shoot of a Crossfit athlete without showing some muscles eh?

Edmund, thanks for letting me bully you around not only during the shoot but also at all other times as well :p Here’s wishing you a ‘Happy Belated Birthday!’ and to many more years of achieving personal records!

Much thanks to Andrew T for assisting me with lighting and styling as well. And thanks for the below shot as well ;)

Yay! Working Out Again :D

Remember when I mentioned that I had wanted to achieve a PR for the adidas King of the Road 10km run?

I had a last minute shoot a day before the run, second shooting for another photographer on a full day wedding and the afternoon session was at Kuala Lumpur’s town centre. We were basically shooting till nearly midnight and by the time we had supper, it was already 2 am and I knew the King of the Road wasn’t happening for me -________-” Epic fail.

Targeting for Mizuno Wave Run next. Hopefully >.<

Anyway, didn’t workout during the weekend and Monday as well cos of shoots, so it was a great respite from work when I headed to Pushmore yesterday and did the following :D

In 15 minutes,do as many rounds as possible of:
5 Handstand Push Ups
10 Ring Dips
15 Push Up
Results: 5 rounds, 5 + 10 + 15
By second round, I was already feeling the burn on my shoulders. Man, it felt goooooddddd.

I was probably swearing like mad at this point in time -___-”

100 Sit Ups
75 Bicycle Crunch
50 Leg Raises
25 Dynamic Side Planks (each side)
Results: 12:15
Killer ab workout. I like.

100 Sit Ups
Result: 4:10
Since Sze Ning was still doing the above workout when I completed, I continued with the 100. Nice nice.
