Headed to Pushmore after having a light breakfast with Eon and Intan. It was a good thing I didn’t push myself too hard with this wod, otherwise they would’ve been able to see what I had for breakfast. Good workout, the only thing which slowed me down was the SDHP -_______-”. Now I ‘ve just gotta wait and see whether or not it affects tonights run >.<
After a hearty late lunch/early dinner, headed off to Putrajaya with fellow Pushmore members where some of us participated in the Fun Run (only 5km *shy*) and a few participated in the 10km category. We arrived there slightly before 7pm and were greeted with ample parking spots at the open car park area right next to the starting point. How convenient!
The run itself was fun! Maybe cos I only participated in the 5km Fun Run Category :p Was grinning to myself the whole time and thinking “Muahahahaha! No need to run 10km and suffer! Muahaahahah!”. It was so nice that I took my own sweet time and carried Karen’s point & shoot with me to take photos throughout the run. Below are some pics of the event from Karen’s camera. Thanks Karen!
With the Pushmore chicks ;p

The starting point
As we had time to kill before the Fun Run category begun, Karen, Eddie, Andrew and Ye Kar did some squats as warm up. As for me, I was still trying to digest the tiramisu I had before the run 0_o
Run run run! So nice to run at night :D

We cam-whored after the run. Yes we camwhore ALOT. I like this shot of tai kor Eddie & myself shot by Karen, TQ! So symmetrical horr?
Edit: I just realised my head is between Eddie’s nipples. What the? :p
Group shot of the Pushmore peeps who participated in the event. Nice seeing familiar faces there :D
Thanks Eric and Kenneth for the invite :D Overall I think the run was well organised (compared to the recent one i attended!). It wasn’t too crowded and they had a lot of sponsors booths as well as activities going on. Friends who participated in the 10km category said that there were at least FOUR drinking stations. Which is ALOT for a run of that length. Reckon its great that they had that many drinking stations and sufficient liquids for everyone instead of not having enough. As for the route, it was quite flat throughout the whole course. Well, that’s not saying much since I only did 5km. Hehe…
My time? A leisurely 35 minutes, well approximately anyway. Which is cool by me cos I think my average is about 7 mins per km so okay lah :p Luckily I had my knee support on as my right knees been feeling wonky for the past couple of weeks :( I need to go check it first before next Sunday’s King of The Road event. Hope its nothing serious!
Edit: Note to self - cut toenails before running event >.< I think its my shoes (or perhaps how my toes scrunch together whenever I run), but the third right toe scrapes against the second right toe and this has happened for the last two runs. Eeeks!
So, how was the run??? Did you break the 1 hour mark???
