Faz & Marina: Portraits

Portraits

I met Marina and Faz on the day of the shoot and despite never having met them before, we got along like fire in a bush! Marina had found me online and coincidentally we’re both from KK. Ya, orang Sabah bah! wOOt!

I had an absolute blast shooting you two and thank you so much for being sooo open to all sorts of suggestions despite it getting reaaaaaally hot towards end of the shoot :p And Faz, thank you for jumping so many times. Yes, I’m keeping all those shots for you two. Hahahaha!

Here are some of my favourite from our session :) Have an awesome weekend ahead!

Adi & Shaliza’s Wedding

Weddings

It was a beeeee-yooo-ti-fool day when Adi and Shaliza got married. The KL skies were clear and blue, not a drop of rain nor a whiff of haze was visible. I arrived at Shaliza’s as she was about to finish up her preparations and boy was she gorgeous or what!

We headed off to the Federal Mosque after where Adi and his family members had already arrived and the solemnisation was held there. I love shooting at the Federal Mosque as the architecture is awesome! Top that up with a loving and sporting couple and you get pictures which make you go ‘Awwwwww…’ Well, for me anyway ;)

Adi and Sha’s dinner reception was held on the same day at the Concorde Kuala Lumpur and it was attended by their family members and close friends. Besides the merenjis and liveband, I think the highlight of the night was when Sha’s Dad was up on-stage singing. His speech was absolutely hilarious and it sure got everyone cracking up!

Adi and Sha, thank you for having me document your special day for you. It was an absolute pleasure for me and I hope you two are doing fine Down Under :) Sha, here’s wishing you all the best with your photography endeavor and Adi, don’t forget what uncle said in his speech about jogging 5 km’s every morning ;p Ngeheheheee…take care!

M&M’s Family Portraits

Portraits

I recently had an opportunity shoot a few more Pushmore members. Not for individual shots mind you, but this time round it was for a family of Cross-fitters. Yes, M&M and their sons workout regularly at Pushmore and let me tell you, they’re one family that you shouldn’t mess around with. Not only do they all have fit physiques and great looks but they’re also motivational speakers. Looks AND brains?!?! Jeez, some have it all ;)

Their family portrait session was done on a weekday and while I shot individual shots of M&M, their three boys egged them on endlessly. Boys will be boys! After shooting the more ‘serious’ portraits at a park in Damansara Perdana, we headed over to TTDI to get some fun, casual portraits done. Here are some of my faves :)

Check, check, check them out. Like, are you kidding me?! They should be featured in a toothpaste ad!

“How ya’ doin?” ala Joey Friends ;p

A stand-off between the parents and the kids – “When are you kids gonna move outta the house?!?!?” LOL. Kidding, kidding!

The boys in (almost!) perfect handstand push up form ;p

My goodness, you guys are the most sporting family I’ve shot so far! Thank you for being so open to suggestions (and for coming up with silly ones as well :p Hahahah!). I had a blast throughout the session and I’m glad you all like the photos :) Here’s wishing you all great workouts at Pushmore. wOOt!

P/S: For those who have previously asked me where this graffitied wall is located, I’m not sure what the street name is, but its located at TTDI across from the apartments near the huge Rasta mamak. Cheerio!
