Introducing C and C!
We started off our fun portrait session on a lovely Saturday morning. It was awesome that the session began early in the morning before it got too hot as it meant we got great light and we didn’t melt cause of the heat wave!
And check out C2′s dress! I absolutely love it and I told her that it was perfect for the shoot for it was colorful and she looks great in it! She then told me that C actually bought it for her specially for the shoot. Isn’t that suh-weet? Now everybody, say with me, “Awwwwwwwww…” ;)
After some quick shots at Ikea, we headed over to an empty plot of land nearby where I found out that C and C2 are THE self-proclaimed hypo-allergenic couple! Hahah! Hypo-allergenic couple! So cute! C2 told me about their allergies (yes plural not singular) and I felt absolutely astounded when she told me that she’s allergic to coffee as well! OMG! I won’t be able to live without coffee!!
Anyway, C started feeling itchy after a while of tumbling around the weeds but thank goodness we got the below two shots before moving on to our next location ;) Sorry for the slight discomfort there. Hehe…
Our next location was just three minutes away and there, the light was awesome as shadows and backlight was in abundance. I love couples who trust me when I bring them to dodgy locations, for I believe that beauty can be found in the most random (not to mention, dodgy) places. Yay for dodgy places and trusting couples!
I love graffiti! Moreso those with loving couples against them too ;p
And here’s a little trivia about C & C2 – he can do quite a good imitation of Paris Hilton (which gets C2 cracking up!) and she actually likes a song by Celine Dion :p Aaaaaaaand, C2actually got third place for Unduk Ngadau 2003, a huuuuuge beauty pageant in Sabah. That explains the hotness y’all ;)
C & C2, thank you for being so at ease in front of my camera, you two are absolutely adorable together and I can’t wait to shoot your wedding come June. If it’s even half as much fun as our portrait session, then I know I’m in for a grrrrrrreat time! I soooo can’t wait!
See you both soon!

Ohhh you really captured the moments! I can tell how much fun they have together every day. :))
(May 12th, 2009, 9:18 am)The pics look amazing! Looking forward to the big day :D
P.S. Hypoallergenic means “containing few allergens”, and it refers to things like perfume and cosmetics that won’t cause allergic reactions. I think what you mean is environmental hypersensivity! (Sorry, I’m a biology teacher… I can’t help it)
(May 12th, 2009, 10:19 am)Wow!!! I love allll the pictures! Thanks so much for making the shoot so much fun and yakan, my dress so pretty (Minta puji! Must be a Sabah thing :P). And yalah, you and Chris pakat to make fun of my one, ONE only Celine Dion song la! Haha…thanks again, we absolutely love the pics! -Chelle-
(May 12th, 2009, 11:01 am)Eh, I didn’t see Chris’s comment when I posted mine! Ya, thanks to very slow internet.
(May 12th, 2009, 11:32 am)Anyway, since ‘hypoallergenic’ is not really a medical term, I take Anna-Rina’s remark that we’re a hypoallergenic couple as a compliment! Meaning less people are allergic to us…hehe…
anna, these photos are great!!! few of my favs in it…pretty couple too, and you brought out the happiness in them!!! good job!
(May 12th, 2009, 2:40 pm)@Nazra & Zach: Thanks! They’re so loving and funny with each other that it was just a matter of standing around and snapping. So kudos to the couple :)
(May 12th, 2009, 6:14 pm)@Chris & Chelle: Yayyy! *jumps for joy* Glad you both enjoyed the session and the resulting pics. Teacher Chris/Paris, yesssss! I know you can’t help it being a lecturer and all. Hahahaha! And Chelle, I mean Celine Dion?!? But its ok cos you’re so cool in other ways! Hahaha! So jahat oh me :p And yes, the minta puji thing must be a Sabahan trait, cos I also always minta puji. Ngeheheheehehe…
These pictures are beautiful! Chris is my brother and Chelle my (soon-to-be) sister-in-law. The last one actually made me tear up they look so happy together. Great locations — I know they’re going to be so happy with the wedding shots too. Looking forward to seeing you there, Anna!
